Charity supporters and volunteers were treated to an evening of fine dining and world class entertainment. The charity global ambassador, Dr Ibrahim Asante had the audience howling with laughter following moving speeches from Chief Mrs Yemisi Sanusi, Mr Henry Squire and Mrs June Douglas.
The evening also featured presentation of recognition certificates to the charity donors, raffle draw and a silent auction, which helped to raise funds before the night was brought to an end with a variety of music for all to enjoy and cutting of the cake donated by Wotever cakes. The founder of the charity, Abbey Paseda was delighted with the money raised and thankful to Dr Dapo Williams and his wife, Dr Abbey Akinosun, Tiens UK, Scolly George and all those who supported the charity. He said the support we have received is fantastic and the money raised will allow the charity to continue to support people with disabilities in Nigeria. To have sustained support of all attendees like Chief Bimbo Afolayan, Chief and HRM Dapo Oyebade, Baroness Jummy Ariyo and Chief Omotunde Komolafe for the third year running is magnificient and for that l have to say a massive thank you. Vote of thanks was said by one of the global charity ambassadors, Shola Alli.
