You also need to know their needs so that what you are offering will be well receive.

R – It must be RELIABLE. Many trending topics are fictiscious and have no credibility around them you must latch on to a trend that is credible and authentic not a conspiracy story or hearsay. Something that is a proven fact and is trending is always a good choice
E – ENGAGING – The trend you want to ride on must be an engaging on. Wearing leather shoes is a trend but it’s a norm and possible won’t engage many people. If you tell your visually story around a trend like Donald Trumphs candidacy. That is an engaging trend that has high ratings
N- It must be New & in the News. Fresh and dynamic trends are always the best to go with. The attention span of people is growing less and less every day and you must be conversant with what’s happening in the news that you intended audience is watching. Also the news doesn’t necessarily have to be on traditional media platforms but it can also be news on social media platforms, blogs
